Recipes

Here are a few of my good ole starter recipes -

Vanilla -
2 1/4 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted or softened butter (usually mine is melted because I put it in the microwave and forget about it)
3/4 cup milk
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream

I'm not one of those people that does everything in steps. I basically put all my wet ingredients in a bowl (minus the milk) and mix it up, then I dump in my dry ingredients and then slowly add the milk. Sounds super professional doesn't it?

Chocolate
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1/3 cup sour cream

Bake both at 350*. I always start at 15 minutes, poke them and then go in 4 minute intervals from there. When you check them they should have raised, firmed up and not be jiggley when you shake the pan. You really should see me bake some day, I do silly things. Like if I can wiggle the pan and the cupcakes don't jiggle then I poke them. You'll figure out your own ways of doing things too.
